The studio is creating a unique Christmas tree installation for Gioia Atelier, part of Capital Collection and Italamp, alongside Duccio Grassi Architects and Studio Tenca & Associati. The event, conceived by TOWANT, invites the public to freely visit the showrooms, explore the installations, and even vote for their favourite trees. Guided tours, meetings with architects, and convivial moments supported by Campari Soda and Melegatti will make the experience even more engaging, celebrating architecture, creativity, and the festive spirit throughout the city.

A project by arcHItects, architectural firm based in Milan with a strong know how in horeca and retail interior design in Italy and abroad, especially in South East Asia. The restaurant – a project made in 2019 – has been designed as a mix and match between Italy and Philippines. A real strong synergy among Italian tradition details and a clear reference to nature, queen of the Philippines. The restaurant has been made with materials to create a natural touch and feel and deep and quiet place to eat, have fun and relax. A cool and informal nest out of the chaos of a big and vibrant city as Manila is. Interiors have been designed with a double setup for lunches and informal dinners. The impressive indoor trees and pendant tube lights create a chill-jungle mood in conversation with the majestic copper texture joined with a monumental wall covered with natural moss. The result is a unique place sprinkled with small and big details, such as the wood-fired oven covered with riveted copper plates and the large hat made with oven blades: a real benchmark for the city of Manila.

Nft ovo version

arcHITects has a strong vocation for technology. Today it is in fact the first Italian architecture firm to land in the crypto market with low tech furniture design objects with OVO: the home-organizer that returns coins. OVO is the first physical object certified with an NFT (non fungible token) on the Polygon blockchain. For each physical edition of OVO, a numbered NFT will be created and delivered with the purchase. The NFT will be able to be kept, transferred or sold with the physical object.

The studio decided to create OVO with 3D printing because it has the same characteristics as a digital file: it can be reproduced in infinite identical copies by anyone with the necessary tools. This is our interpretation of Crypto Design. Thanks to the blockchain, every 3D printed product has guaranteed ownership and traceability of the real product.

In the constant work of transformation of the city, the role of the architect has been confronted with a multi-faceted process: the challenge to enhance and interpret neighborhoods with a strong history and urban connotation, achieve the objectives of new modern housing units required by clients and offer a building product capable of responding to the strong needs born in the post-2020.

And it is this strong push for new housing needs that has paved the way for an increasingly large and demanding market in the short term rental sector (short term rentals of 6 months or more).

arcHITects, led by arch. Piantini, began in 2017 to design and research the perfect formula for creating a fully dedicated living space. It is a winning combination to offer a top-notch experience – as well as vastly exceeding expectations towards short-term residences – without neglecting goals of return on investment along with future maintenance and management costs.

For the interior design of this new way of living in the short term, the studio focused on the needs of the market, which is looking for apartments that stand out from each other: different but consistent, each unit is a small experience of living that the guest can choose according to his own.
